Leadership Team

Ken Bram – President

As President of the corporation, Ken Bram started his long career with Ausco, Inc. in 1987 and has served in a variety of positions during his 30+ year with the company.  He is active in the Aerospace community and frequently attends industry events.  Ken’s role as the President is to determine the future direction of the company, to assure that Ausco, Inc supports the needs of our diverse customer base and to lead in the development of industry leading product designs.

 

Bernard Kierez – General Manager

Mr. Kierez has been in the aerospace industry for 25+ years when his love for aviation and aerospace started at a young age Throughout his career, Mr. Kierez has held various leadership positions with increased responsibilities. During his career, Mr. Kierez has made significant leadership contributions to organizations such as Goodrich Aerospace, Smiths Aerospace, Arkwin Industries, Transdigm Group, and now Ausco,Inc. Some of the leadership positions held by Mr. Kierez have been in repair station operations, production operations, program management, sales/marketing, and business development. Mr. Kierez holds an FAA A&P Certification and a Master of Business Administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Park Campus in Madison NJ.

 

Werner Buhler – Director of Engineering & Business Strategy

In his role, Werner Buhler leads the Engineering, Program, and Business Development teams for Ausco and brings his 20+ years of aerospace experience. Werner joined Ausco from Meggitt, where he was Senior Program Manager for the two French sites of the Power & Sensing division. There he successfully initiated and deployed cross-functional Program Lifecycle Management. Werner began his career as a valve design engineer at Ausco. He then moved on to project engineer and lead engineer. He later joined AD Industries as a Program Manager for all commercial engine aerospace programs. He eventually re-joined Ausco as Engineering Manager. Werner earned his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and
a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Ecole Superieure des Techniques Aeronautiques et de Construction Automobile
in Paris, France. Werner and his wife Tiffanie relocated to New York after having spent four years in France. They have three very
active children of pre-elementary and elementary school ages.

 

Howard Naval – Director of Quality

Howard’s 30 years of management experience in aerospace included project management, technical operations, overall quality operations and product integrity. Prior to joining Ausco, Inc, Howard worked at Arkwin, where built a Quality Management System that integrated business processes focused on fulfilling customer expectations and ensuring regulatory compliance. This included controlling a budget of $1.8M and a staff of twenty.

 

Open – Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, staffing, compensation, career counseling, performance management, corporate compliance, succession planning and safety.

 

Jeanne Schoener – Financial Controller

Jeanne is a financial executive with experience specializing in all phases of finance and operations for a manufacturing environment.  Her skills include cash flow forecasting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, cross functional collaboration, and cost control initiatives. Jeanne supported the implementation of Visual manufacturing ERP software as Controller and Assistant Controller for several companies including API Electronics, Arkwin Industries, and Ausco, Inc.
